Sometimes the best way to get repeatable seal performance is to protect a seal from exposure to the process and cleaning chemistries it is sealing against.
Custom seal designs using Chemraz® and incorporating aluminum or plastic shields have proven to be effective in very aggressive seal applications.

Based on internal plasma testing, Greene Tweed’s Chemraz® engineers have proven that the gap (i.e., the pathway for chemistry to reach your seal) makes a difference in seal performance. By controlling (reducing) the gap, it is possible to extend seal life.
